IAFF Withdrawl cards can be obtained from your Local Union Secretary. With provisions for withdrawl outlined in both the Contract and the Local By-laws. I would be more than happy to help you fill it out and see to it that it is deliverd to the appropriate person. 12 year member of the IAFF and have yet to see a gun held to anyones head.

OR, To think that the IALFF has endorsed the one candidate who would “cut and Run” with our troops in the ongoing war against terrorism in my mind is the ultimate slap in face to the membership, and disrespects those IALFF members who paid the ultimate price on 9-11. How soon this union in its lust for Democrat power, forgets its fallen members.

I maintain that Unioins are highly hypocritical in their support of liberals. While they claim to support Dem’s for thier ” support of the working man”- they forget that those same Democrats love nothing more than to raise taxes on those same working folks.

Hence, I refuse to ever display a IALFF decal, nor will I subscribe to the newsletters or magazines.

Well steted OR. I guess at this stage in life we all look inside ourself from time to time and ponder what impact we have had. There are those times when you have to make a stand, hold your ground and throw in the Bullshit Flag when appropriate. The difference being the ability to see bullshit coming, and refuse to accept it, or allowing it to run you over unabated. Of course having the stones to stand up to it helps too.
