The red army turns green

While I have never been a huge fan of Dale Sr (I used to Boo him at the races) I have immense respect for Jr. After making a life changing decision last year he held his head high through adversity that would have crushed many others. Forced to leave the ride of a lifetime in order to be his own man, he endured a season marked by many failures, always holding his head high and never trash talking anyone. I gained a lot of respect for the man the way he carried himself last year. He seems very genuine and thankful for the rabid following he has amassed. 

Now that Daytona is here he has shown everyone that he has the talent and skill to be a champion, more importantly he has backed up what he said he could do. Now that he has been given the equipment that he was so sorely lacking at DEI he has silenced the critics. I like people that can talk shit and then back it up.
