The inattentive driver early detection device

If you look carefully below the back bumper you will see my IDEDD. This unit was strategically placed so as to alert me if the person behind me was busily engaged in a cell phone conversation or similar activity. Several years ago I removed the device for cleaning and was rear ended the very next day. Last week, in a reversal of fortune I removed it for another cleaning and maintenance for several days, feeling unprotected, I used an alternate (smaller) IDEDD. I installed the unit in the evening and in less than 12 hrs tested it on a woman in a Grand prix. Apparently it was my fault. I had moved up to the next window and according the “dingbat dejour” had apprently enticed her Grand prix into the IDEDD. What could I have been thinking ?
